System Audio Menu

This menu page is used to define global audio parameters, over display, etc., that are independent of the loaded preset. For this reason, settings made in this menu are not altered by loading a new preset.

  

 
 


Audio section  

  

• Sync Reference
This parameter is used to define the source for the reference clock signal synchronizing the TouchMonitor.

In "Auto" mode, the unit first searches for a valid reference signal on digital inputs selected in Audio Groups. Next, it searches for a valid reference signal on any fitted digital input.

In "Internal" mode, the reference clock is generated internally. In this mode, the unit will not be in sync with digital input signals!

In a TM-Dante device, the reference signal from a Dante™ network is always used for synchronisation. Therefore, the key is greyed, displays AoIP and provides no further options for selection.

Internal (48 kHz) | Auto | SDI (when fitted) | all AES inputs (when fitted)

• AoIP Network Settings
This option will only be displayed on TM-Dante devices. The corresponding key displays the unique name identifier of the TM-Dante unit in the connected Dante™ network. After touching this key, IP address, netmask and gateway of the primary and secondary Dante™ AoIP network will be displayed.

• Over Hold
This parameter is used to define the hold time for the "Over" display.

PPM section  

  

• Over Resolution
This parameter defines the digital audio resolution to be evaluated for the PPM "Over" display.

Options:

  

16 bit | 24 bit

• Over Samples
This parameter defines the amount of samples meeting the condition set in "Over Sensitivity" (see below) that is needed to trigger the "Over" display.

• Over Sensitivity
This parameter defines the response threshold for the PPM "Over" display.

Options:
